Landshut, Germny

June 21, 2013.  We are in the city where Rita’s mother was born.  We are here to learn about her family from her aunt Lisel.  Rita has never met her aunt so she is excited to meet her in a couple of hours.  Yesterday, we flew to Munich and picked up our Renault Megane.  It had 17 Kilometers on the odometer.  It is a medium sized hatch back made in France.  Rita is driving and I am navigating.  The Megane only needs serviced once every 33,000 kilometers about 20,505 miles!  We filled up the tank with diesel and it took 44 liters and cost 62 Euro.  44 liters is 11.6 gallons and cost $81.99 or $7.06 per gallon!!  We will post some photos of our Megane and Landshut on our photo page so be sure and check it out.  Over and out.  Love you and miss you.  Keep those comments and emails coming to us boys and girls.  We miss you and it is GREAT to keep in touch with you!!!!  It keeps our hearts and minds close to family and friends.  –Norm & Rita

I have a picture of my Aunt Lisel standing in this same place when she was very young, around 1949. So we decided to take the same picture!
