London

JUNE 1, 2013–Date line London.  We have arrived safely.   Flight was seven and a half hours.  Arrived at 6:30 am London time.  Took the tube or underground or subway, whatever you wish to call it, to the St. James Park area of London, to our hotel, St. Ermins.  Found the hotel on our first attempt without getting lost.  Luckily, the hotel had a room for us even at this early hour.  We are unpacking and planning our first day in London, a walking tour.  Rita forgot the itinerary that we have been working on for months until midnight every night, but she is also working on a backup plan to have it emailed to us today.  More on this later. I am trying to get comfortable with the fact that this is far from a backpacking trip around the world.  I do have a backpack, but I also have a carrier on and an iPhone, IPad and Mac Book Aire. Of course, i don’t know how to use any of them. But, Rita is in charge of our IT Department!   So far, so good, we are still speaking.  Thus, ends the first morning of our first day around the world.  –Norm & Rita

Look what I found in between Westminster Abbey and Big Ben!

Good thing they have these instructions at each cross walk!!! They have been very helpful!

Who says men never ask for directions!

Norm looking very dapper. Please also note the "Eye of London" in the background as it is very hard to take focus away from Norm.
